What Are Hair Toppers?

Hair Toppers are an alternative solution for hair loss suffers, women who want to add more volume or just have fun with alternate hair combinations. They differ from wigs because they are not a full head piece, just a top up of hair and differ from extensions because they cover the crown – ideal for covering up thinning hair or patches on top of the head. Hair Toppers are suited best to people with thinning hair, they are assembled with clips, similar to clip in hair extensions, so to wear them you need some hair still on your head.

Do I have to Match My Biological Colour?

This is your choice. Depending on how many Toppers you have, you can wear any colour and use little tricks (like the upside down plait – see our Instagram Highlights) to mask any colour variation. A match with your biological (bio) colour is the easiest to wear. It can be really fun to simply become blonde in a click with no damage to your bio hair, so don’t be afraid to have fun with other colours too. We do!

 

Can I Wear My Topper Up?

You can simply tie your Topper up into a midway or low ponytail, those who have more experience with Toppers can even tie them into a bun or high pony.

 

Can I Wear My Topper When Exercising?

You can wear your Remy Human Hair Topper almost everywhere, including exercising. The innovative light weight design means that your ND Topper is breathable and light to wear, and the secure clip system ensures it stays in place. We’d advise against wearing it in chlorine pools or under water for wear and tear reasons.

 

Caring For Your Hair

Remember your hair is made with 100% Remy Human Hair so needs to be cared for like you would your bio hair.

ND Remy Human Hair Toppers are best worn when they are customised to suit You. We sell a range of most popular base colours that look amazing but you can add that special touch with a styled cut or colour to suit you.

For a more natural look, we recommend washing your hair piece as soon as you receive it. For on-going maintenance, wash your hair on a needs basis, this will vary from person to person, depending on where you go and what you do. Or simply schedule a fortnightly/monthly wash and style with your usual hair stylist. After washing, allow the hair to dry flat and do not comb the hair while it is wet.

With regards to colouring our hair products, we recommend only darkening. Lightening or bleach can damage the hair. We also recommend minimising colour in general for longevity.

Keep your ND Collection hair flat or on an appropriate hair stand to keep its shape whenever you’re not wearing it.

Only brush your hair piece when it is dry. Use a hair extension friendly brush/comb and brush your hair piece gently starting from the bottom and work your way up.

Use quality shampoos and conditioners, treatments and masks will also keep it looking great and last longer.

With appropriate care your ND Collection hair can last up to 18 months plus.

 

What to Expect From Your Hair

Your new Remy Human Hair will be silky and shiny on arrival, just like you stepped out of a salon. The first wash will return your ND Collection hair to it's natural looking form. Re-style your new hair for that natural look or visit your usual stylist for a longer lasting professional look.

On styling and washing, some hair may fall out just like it would from bio hair.

Do not comb hair while it is wet.

With time, hair will wear and tear depending on what it is exposed to.

With appropriate care your ND Collection Topper will last longer.

 

Shipping Costs

Shipping is free Worldwide on all orders over $200. 

International shipping - For international shipments, the customer is solely responsible for their country’s duties and taxes, as well as any and all fees associated with shipment orders that are subject to international customs laws. It is the customers responsibility to be aware of customs fees and duties in each country and Providences. This does not apply for Australia shipment.

 

How Long Will The Order Take for shipping

Orders are dispatched within 1-3 business days

Australia: Within 7-10 business days.

Express shipping within Australia: 1-2 business days to metro areas and major cities.

International Express shipping with DHL : 5-7 business days to metro areas and major cities.

Custom Order: Our Remy Human Hair pieces are all custom made exclusively for ND Collection so our orders take eight to twelve weeks to make. We try to have as much stock as possible to ensure there is no back-log but occasionally there may be delays.

Covid-19 Update:  Shipping may be impacted by global issues beyond our control, and cause a bit of a wait. We apologise for any delays in getting your order to you. 

 

Exchange or Refunds 

Our products are high quality and durable. If cared for as advised we don't expect anything should go wrong. If something does and it is non-repairable we will gladly refund your money or replace the piece. This is valid for the first six months of purchase. 

If you receive your product and need to exchange due to colour or length variation, we will gladly do this within 24 hours from the time that you sign for the package. For a hair piece, it cannot be tampered with (worn, washed, styled). For exchange or refund, send us the return tracking number within 24 hours of purchase. You (the purchaser) are responsible for sending the package to us and also responsible for any fees associated with shipping it back (including insurance and signature requirement for the package, on arrival). 

Refunds will incur an $100 handling fee on full priced items to cover merchant fees incurred from the sale.

There is no refund option for change of mind, incorrect colour, base size or length on sale items or if a discount code was applied. Only a credit will apply to use in our online store or in person. 

You must provide proof of purchase for refund or exchange.
